3 Postpartum Products for Mama

*Hey there, mama, this post contains affiliate links. If you click and purchase, I may earn a small commission. I recommend products I know and love.

I’ve had 3 kids, so I get postpartum. It can hit you like a ton of bricks. As a new mama, I remember falling into the google trap of searching and searching for products, support, help. It sometimes felt like endless searching. What will work, what won’t, what can help in this moment right now? Two of my kiddos started out in NICU (which is a post in and of itself) but in that time I learned very quickly what I needed for myself, so that I could show up for my kids in the way they needed me to be.

First off, it seems so simple, but WATER is essential. I’ve had my fair share of water bottles, and I keep testing and trying. But I have to say, I the majorly love the Stanley tumbler. Stanley truly is all it's cracked up to be. It fits in my car’s cup holder, it is heavy enough to hold up to 3 boys knocking it around, and the straw means I’m not spilling water all over myself (something I’m easily prone to do). I love my Stanley, so much. Plus - water helps with breastmilk production! It’s a win-win.

Second, you need to get yourself a great pair of loungers. When I am early postpartum, I DO NOT want anything too tight. I need freedom and comfort. When I found these Kindred Bravely Everyday Maternity Loungers I instantly fell in love. They are SO soft, loose enough to be comfortable but tight enough that I don’t look like I’m wearing my husband's old sweatpants. And the colors! I own both Twilight and Slate Blue, and I feel gorgeous in each!

Third, but not least, the best nursing bra on the market. The Kindred Bravely Nursing Bra (do we see a pattern here?). Again, the fabric is SO soft. It feels like butter on my skin, and it is comfortable enough to sleep in. I am a busty girl, so I really appreciate a soft, supportive but not restricting nursing bra - and this one is it. You can easily slip in a nursing pad, pull the side down for nursing, or pull both sides down if you are pumping.

These items may seem simple, and I hope they are. For me, comfort and hydration were key in keeping my sanity early on. When I am taken care of, even in these simple ways, I am so much better at taking care of others.
